King Prawn With Green Peppers and Black Bean Sauce

12-16 large king prawns

2 tbsp oil

150ml chicken stock

2 tbsp black bean

1 green pepper chopped into ½" pieces (approx)

1 onion chopped into ½" pieces (approx)

1-2 chillies finely chopped

1" cube of ginger finely chopped

2-3 cloves of garlic chopped or crushed

1 tsp of corn flour mixed with 100 ml water


Heat oil in pan and add ginger, garlic, chillies and black beans.

Stir fry for about 30 seconds to a minute.

Add peppers and onions and fry until they are soft.

Add chicken stock and bring to the boil.

Add prawns and keep boiling until prawns are cooked. (They will turn pink)

If the sauce is not thick enough then add some of the cornflour.
